These terms do not establish a new fee, cancellation deadline, or payment obligation. Insurance benefits and payment remain subject to your plan and applicable agreements.

You may not use the website or messaging program to send unlawful, threatening, harassing, fraudulent, or malicious content; impersonate another person; submit information without authorization; interfere with website operations; introduce harmful software; or attempt to access systems or records without permission. We may restrict website or messaging access when reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect security. Business Identity and Program Description

Hopeful Horizon Counseling LLC SMS Program provides appointment confirmations and reminders, consultation follow-ups, scheduling updates, and responses to service inquiries to individuals who consent to receive those messages. Messages may be sent through automated messaging technology. Any promotional text messages require separate marketing consent and are limited to the purpose disclosed when you opt in.

Voluntary Consent

Providing a telephone number, submitting an inquiry, accepting these terms, or receiving counseling does not by itself enroll you in the SMS program. You must separately opt in. SMS participation is voluntary, and consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchase or treatment. You may decline text messages and still request or receive our services.

Where enrollment is offered through website forms, SMS consent is collected through a separate optional checkbox that is not preselected. Marketing consent is separate from informational messaging consent. By enrolling, you confirm that you are authorized to use the mobile number you provide. Notify us if that number changes or is reassigned.

Age Restriction

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service. By opting in, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. This age restriction applies to SMS enrollment and does not determine eligibility for counseling services.

Message Frequency and Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your appointments, inquiries, and the communications you request. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just reply STOP to any text message from us. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you provide new consent. Your opt-out applies to all SMS messages from Hopeful Horizon Counseling LLC, including informational and promotional messages.

We also honor other reasonable requests to stop texting, including requests made by emailing contact@hopefulhorizons.com or calling (801) 427-6376. Opting out does not cancel an appointment, end counseling services, or prevent you from contacting us through other available channels.

Reenrollment

If you want to receive text messages again after opting out, sign up through the original opt-in process and provide new consent. We will resume only the message types covered by that consent. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Carrier Liability and Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Delivery depends on your wireless service and messaging network availability. Text messages may be delayed, blocked, or unavailable. Do not rely on SMS for urgent communications or as the sole way to verify an appointment. Ordinary SMS is not end-to-end encrypted, and detailed clinical information should be communicated through the practice's designated clinical channels.

SMS Privacy

We do not sell or rent mobile information or SMS opt-in data. Mobile information and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Necessary messaging and support providers may process information solely on our behalf to operate the program, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information current, but errors and interruptions may occur.
